About Le Chic Hair Design
I am fortunate enough to have worked with some great names in hairdressing such as, Aveda, Toni & Guy and Headmasters to name a few.
While at Headmasters I attended many courses at both their senior academy and at L’Oreal headquarters London and received many accolades. These included intensive courses on the finer points of hairdressing and also courses on designer styling, product knowledge and colour change to mention just a few.
Mostly I felt very lucky to have training from well known industry session stylists and senior art team members on an almost one-to-one basis. These include Jonathan Soons, Herman Ho and Aron Carlos. (Not forgetting, Stephen McManus, Senior Academy Head Training consultant and mentor)
When working with Toni & Guy I found their cutting technique to be methodical and structured with simple terminology that closely reflected other Vidal Sasson training I had also gained during my career.
I've also received extensive training in advanced colour correction at L'Oreal headquarters London.
“It’s the cut that counts”. The famous maxim of Vidal Sassoon is embraced, wholeheartedly, by Berkshire hair designer Tony Farr. Sassoon trained Tony has been busy cutting hair and providing a friendly and reliable service for his clients since 2011 (Freelance).
The Sassoon way of cutting hair is about cutting the shape into your hair instead of relying so much on blow drying and styling. “It’s a great philosophy and means that your hair is so much easier to manage day after day”.

My usual hairdresser was very busy this week and I wondered who I could call upon to help cut my hair in time for the weekend. I'm not keen on hairdressing salons and remembered that Tony Farr is a mobile hairdresser so contacted him and made an app. for yesterday. Tony came along promptly with almost like a mini salon! his special chair, a mat to collect all hair and lovely products for hair. Tony was friendly I felt at ease straight away and he gave me a superb hair cut, I'm very pleased with the results. He makes sure he understands what you want (unlike many salons) and works with what you want and gives an honest opinion about what is best for your hair as well. Thank you very much Tony for a fabulous haircut and can now go away at the weekend with confidence. :) x

Tony is amazing. In just 2 appointments (cut then highlights) he completely transformed my hair. He also have great advice and understood that I'm very lazy with my hair. Before hairdressers would still just talk about what I should do. Tony listened and said I won't get amazing results if I don't put the effort in but gave me great tips that take minutes. Had my restyled by Tony yesterday, fabulous!!!!
I started off with a shoulder length dried up looking Bob and after showing Tony 2 photos of what style I was kinda looking to have. I left the rest up to him. He transformed my messy mop into a really cool funky pixie cut. It has made me feel younger, hopefully look younger and my hair is now so much manageable.

My difficult hair tamed by Toni at Akoni Hair Design Because I don’t leave my home often, I decided to try a mobile hairdresser. I looked for one, found Tony Farr at Akoni Hair Design and decided to give him a try. I am so glad I did! Tony isthe best hairdresser I’ve ever had. He is always punctual, leaves me nothing to clean when he leaves and comes with anything you might need to get a professional salon look. If you want to look your best you need Tony.

Fab, professional Hair stylist who does what it says on the tin This hairdresser/stylist has it all. He does a fantastic job at cutting, styling, listening to what you really want and doing exactly that. If you want a trim, that’s what you get, or a total re-style he asks questions to get to the root of exactly what you’re thinking.
He is friendly, chatty, and easy to talk to.
I would recommend this hairdresser over and over to everyone
