My thoughts... Great hairstyles are created not only to match face shape and skin tone, but also a whole array of other features like lifestyle and personality. No hairstyle can look the same on any two people and so as a Hair Designer, I have to factor into clients needs what will be acceptable, manageable and yet reflect the clients lifestyle and image. It's a delicate balancing act that requires great visualisation skills and focus. It is my belief that it is somewhere in-between this that I find my creativity.
